Working Hard

This morning Owen and I have been quite busy. We took a wagon ride to walk the pups and then headed out back to get some things done. We weeded the gardens, Owen likes to help put them in the bag. We also took a break to play in the fort, slide and swing. Then it was off to finish putting the rest of the outdoor furniture together. While I finished the table and chairs, Owen played with his trucks, filling them up with dirt and dumping them. He also got to watch the dump truck and bulldozers at the construction site. He was very excited to see the bulldozer actually filling up the dump truck.

Then for some reason he wanted to help me. He picked up the wrench that came with the set and started trying to tighten up the screws. It was cute; and he really understood what to do. Of course he wanted to get in the chair and rock.

I am very proud to say in the past 1.5 weeks I have completed putting together all the new furniture for outside, now the porch just needs to be done. Almost there!!! This is my list of accomplishments:
1- 2 tables
2- 4 chairs
3- 2 swivel chairs
4- 2 rocking chairs
5- 2 side tables
6- 1 coffee table
7- unwrapping 4 wicker chairs and 4 side chairs
