Christmas Decorating

This morning I decorated the house inside for Christmas. For the most part Owen really didn’t seem to interested. However he did enjoy exploring the items in the box and helping take them out. It should be interested to see how my decorations survive the curious hands of Owen. I already had to change my usual design to accomodate him – the life of having a toddler.

We also all went outside to decorate the house with lights. He showed much more interest in this. At one point Omer was putting lights on the bushes and Owen picked up the lights on the ground and tried to take them to him. Once it got dark, we took him out there to see them lit, and he got very excited and was pointing at all the decorations and saying “lights”.

“Daddy, do you need these lights?”

He also really liked the bells on the reindeer.

When Omer went to put lights on the tree, Owen wanted to climb the ladder too. Omer put him on the top rung and showed him how to hang lights.

And of course, Owen enjoyed running around.
