Rocking Out

We headed over to the Herndon Farmers Market Fun Day to meet our friends and rock out to Rocknoceros. Owen had a blast. At first he sat with me munching on his snack and tapping his foot. Never seen him tap his foot, it was cute. Then I asked if he wanted to go dance and he quickly got up and went to the front. However, he usually actually dances around in the “mosh pit” but today he decided to sit on the steps and dance along.

Later on he went back up to be close to the music and he kneeled on the steps facing the band and swayed back and forth while banging his hands on the steps, it really looked like he was playing the piano.

During the show and afterwards, Owen ran around (big shocker), but there is a big hill that a lot of the kids like to play on, including Owen. He wanted to sit on the hill with me and clap with the music. He would run up the hill and down the hill, and he also watched the bigger kids roll down the hill. He couldn’t do it so instead he laid on his belly and scooted down. Very funny.
